Diamox Tablet contains Acetazolamide, a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor used to treat various conditions such as glaucoma, epilepsy, altitude sickness, and edema. Acetazolamide works by reducing the production of certain body fluids, including aqueous humor in the eye, thereby decreasing pressure inside the eye. It also reduces abnormal electrical activity in the brain to help control seizures.
